DMRC to increase operational speed of Airport line to 100 kmph –

The Airport Express Line from New Delhi Metro Station to Dwarka Sector-21 Metro Station will be tested at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation (DMRC) will enhance the Airport Express Line’s operational speed from 80 kmph to 100 kmph from Wednesday. The Airport Express Line from New Delhi Metro Station to Dwarka Sector-21 Metro Station will be tested at 1 p.m. on Wednesday to demonstrate the increased speed. The media is also invited to the test.

According to authorities, the increased speed will reduce the journey time between New Delhi to IGI Airport stations from 19 minutes to a handful of minutes. According to DMRC authorities, the line’s operational speed would be increased, reducing travel time between the two stations to roughly 15 minutes.
