PM Modi in Madhya Pradesh today, to inaugurate 5 Vande Bharat trains –

With the launch of these five Vande Bharat trains, total number of Vande Bharat trains running in India will reach to 23.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will physically and virtually flag off five new Vande Bharat Express trains from Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati Railway Station.

PM Modi is expected to go to Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday, taking to Twitter he announced “I will be in Bhopal tomorrow, 27th June to take part in two programmes. First, 5 Vande Bharat trains would be flagged off at a programme in Rani Kamalapati Railway Station. These trains will improve connectivity in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Bihar and Jharkhand.”

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Lalpur and Pakaria in the Shahdol district has been delayed owing to the risk of severe rain on Tuesday, according to Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while his event in Bhopal has not been postponed.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday said in an interview, “Due to the possibility of heavy rains tomorrow (June 27), PM Modi’s program scheduled in Lalpur and Pakaria in Shahdol district has been postponed. The program has not been cancelled, soon the new date of his visit will be decided according to the weather conditions. The arrangements for the program will also continue in Lalpur. PM Modi’s programs in Bhopal will remain the same.”

The Prime Minister will arrive at Rani Kamalapati Railway Station at 10:30 am and signal the departure of five Vande Bharat Express trains. This comprises the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express, the Vande Bharat Express from Khajuraho to Bhopal and Indore, the Vande Bharat Express from Madgaon (Goa) to Mumbai, the Vande Bharat Express from Dharwad to Bengaluru, and the Vande Bharat Express from Hatia to Patna.

Routes where Vande Bharat trains will now run in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh’s Mahakaushal Region (Jabalpur) and the Central Region (Bhopal) will be connected by the Rani Kamalapati-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express. Furthermore, tourist destinations like Bheraghat, Pachmarhi, Satpura, etc. would benefit from enhanced connectivity.

Compared to the quickest train on the route, the train will go faster by around 30 minutes.
The Malwa Region (Indore) and the Bundelkhand Region (Khajuraho) will have better connectivity to the Central Region (Bhopal) thanks to the Khajuraho-Bhopal-Indore Vande Bharat Express. Important tourist destinations including Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Maheshwar, Khajuraho, and Panna would gain from this. The train will travel along the route for around two hours and thirty minutes more quickly than the current fastest train.

Mumbai-Madgaon (Goa) The first Vande Bharat Express in Goa will be this one. It will operate between Goa’s Madgaon station and Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus. Comparing it to the two locations’ current fastest train can help save around an hour of travel time.

Dharwad-Bengaluru Dharwad, Hubballi, and Davangere, three significant Karnataka cities, will be connected to Bengaluru, the state capital, by the Vande Bharat Express. It will greatly assist local residents such as visitors, students, business owners, etc. Compared to the fastest train on the route, the train will go quicker by around 30 minutes.

Hatia-Patna The first Vande Bharat for Jharkhand and Bihar will be the Vande Bharat Express. For travellers, students, and businesspeople, the railway will improve communication between Patna and Ranchi. In comparison to the two locations’ current fastest train, it will assist reduce travel time by about one hour and 25 minutes, according to the official statement.
